I am a licensed Professional Engineer with over 10 years of exposure and experience working in the field of architectural engineering. After earning my master’s degree in structural engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, I moved to San Francisco and worked with two nationwide engineering companies on projects from large commercial facilities to single-family residences. During this time, I developed expertise designing waterproofing systems and rehabilitating the building envelope of existing buildings. The value that Borne Consulting provides is quality technical expertise, competitive cost, and heightened client focus.
I am passionate about being my clients’ trusted advisor to find creative and pragmatic solutions for projects with complex constraints. I work hard to be highly responsive and exercise excellent communication skills with project team members throughout a project’s life cycle. From a perspective of sustainability, my mission is to rehabilitate and restore existing buildings for enhanced long-term performance.
